Located in Central O'ahu's Waipahu, Koa Ridge is an upcoming master-planned community developed by Castle & Cooke. This community is planned to include a variety of housing options, as well as in-community locations for shopping, dining, activities, entertainment, and even jobs. All of these aspects of Koa Ridge are to be connected by the 7.5 mile-long Ho'ala Trail, which travels all around and within the community.
Though the Koa Ridge community is in a more secluded part of O'ahu, its neighborhood has a variety of great offerings that make living in Koa Ridge just as convenient as other locations around the island. For example, Costco's Waipi'o branch is located a short 4-minute drive from the Koa Ridge community, which also includes a Costco gas station. This means that residents of Koa Ridge, in addition to the shopping planned to be offerred within the community, will have very quick access to one of the largest shopping chain supermarkets on the island.
Some of the other shopping locations around Koa Ridge include a Walmart, Longs Drugs, and a Times Supermarket in the Town Center of Mililani (a 9-minute drive away), the Waipi'o Shopping Center (a 4-minute drive away), the Waikele Center Premium Outlets and a Lowe's (a 7-minute drive away), as well as a bunch of more large stores in Pearl City (a 10-minute drive away).
The closest schools to Koa Ridge are Lehua Elementary School, Highlands Intermediate School, and Pearl City High School, which are 11 minutes, 12 minutes, and 17 minutes by car respectively.
Luckily, Kamehameha Highway connects Koa Ridge to the rest of the surrounding areas, meaning getting to and from places is incredible quick and simple compared to using backroads.
Koa Ridge plans to feature a plethora of incredbile community amenities, including:

Features of the Residences
The Koa Ridge community is currently in the process of building its residential areas, with some already available and completed while others are in the planning stages. The sub-communities currently available are Malina (Phase V) and Walea (Phase III), which are located near the Southern tip of Koa Ridge. Malina at Koa Ridge homes offer 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom affordable condominium townhomes, which range in size from 487 to 1079 square feet of interior space. The Walea at Koa Ridge homes, on the other hand, offer 2- and 3-bedroom condominium townhomes ranging in size from 991 to 1557 square feet in size.
Other sub-communities that are currently completed but not available are Nanea at Koa Ridge and Luana at Koa Ridge. Waioha at Koa Ridge, which is coming soon, will offer 2-, 3-, and 4-bedroom detached single-family condominium homes ranging in size from 950 to 1484 square feet of interior space.
