Kahuina, Kaka'ako HI Homes & Real Estate
Expected to launch in the Our Kaka'ako neighborhood in 2026 is Kahuina, a recent addition to the Kaka'ako residential community that will introduce 859 new homes (with 40% being marked-priced units and 60% being combined workplace and affordable units) to prospective residents. These units will be split among two residential buildings, Lamaku and Mamalu, with 449 units dedicated to the former and 398 units to the latter.
Kahuina is being develped by Standord Carr Development, an extensively-experienced local development firm that has already led the development of three of Kaka'ako's buildings. This complex also intends to feature 35,000 square feet of commercial space on Kahuina's 3.66 acres of land.
Construction is intended to begin in 2023 and be completed in 2026, with units starting to be sold sometime in late 2022 or early 2023.
Located in Kaka'ako, Kahuina will have access to a variety of Honolulu's best features. Ala Moana Beach Park and the Ala Moana Shopping Center will be a little over a mile away, while a variety of cafés, restaurants, boutiques, and other businesses will be right at Kahuina residents' fingertips.
Kahuina residents will also have access to Kaka'ako's famous SALT at Our Kaka'ako, a shopping center featuring great coffee shops, eateries, clothing stores, and more.
Though the details have yet to be released, taking example from Kahuina's neighboring buildings means that residents may be able to expect amenities like a pool, a spa, a fitness center, open recreation space, a community area, and more.
